How do you beat the Lanayru Mining Facility boss? ›

Moldarach is the boss located in the Lanayru Mining Facility, and it is also faced later in the Shipyard in the Lanayru Sand Sea. To defeat Moldarach, Link will have to slash the eyes in its claws when they are unguarded. If one of Moldarach's eyes turns red, it signifies that claw will attempt to grab you.

To reach the Heart Piece, you need to head to the platform located to the north-east of the Lanayru Mining Facility and then head towards a bombable wall in the cliff surrounding the desert.

To activate the Power Node, stick your sword into it by using a stabbing motion. Rotate the Wii Remote to the left to turn the Power Node's dial and activate it. A symbol will now appear on your map.

Sentrobes are round, flying robots found mainly in the Lanayru Mining Facility, only becoming active when under the effects of a Timeshift Stone. They have eyes in the center of their bodies and they fly around using a propeller attached to its inner body.

This is the Thunder Dragon Lanayru. to resurrect it, you will need to bring a Timeshift Stone nearby.
